Yolofsky Law is calling all students who plan to enlist in any branch of the military to take the legendary MURPH CHALLENGE!


Take the challenge for your chance to win 1 of 3 scholarships to kickstart your military career!  


Scholarships range from $500 to $1,000.00

To be Eligible: 


  • Applicant must be a High School Junior, Senior or current College student who plans to enlist in the military (all branches qualify).

  • Complete and submit your application below. 

  • Learn about Lieutenant Michael Murphy, USN. Describe how he inspired you.

  • Take the “Murph Challenge” and tag @yolofskylaw #YolofskyLaw  on Instagram.

Is there an essay?

There is a question on the application that requires you to respond with no more than 750 words. “What did you learn from Lt. M. Murphy’s story and how you plan on applying what you learned to your future career goals”.

How much is the Yolofski Law scholarship?

There will be three winners that will receive $1000, $750 and $500.

When does the Yolofski Law scholarship become available?

The scholarship application will be open on January 11th, 2022 to April 11th, 2022.

When is the deadline?

The deadline is April 11th, 2022 at 11:59pm.

I've already graduated from high school, may I still apply?

Yes, high school juniors, seniors, current undergraduate students and graduate students are all encouraged to apply.

I applied last year but was not selected. May I apply again this year?

Yes, please do. The Yolofsky Law scholarship is offered on an annual basis. We encourage those who have submitted an application last year and were not selected to apply again.
